Hamburgers and pizza grow the risk of fatal diseases

If you eat lots of hamburgers, pizza, biscuits and cakes can take several years of your life, according to new studies.

A survey of almost 45,000 middle-aged people showed that deaths from heart disease, cancer and other diseases were related to the consumption of 'fast foods'.

These include: chips, white bread, ready-made meals, sausages, sugar beet and sparkling wine, essentially any product that involves an industrial procedure.

These foods account for half of the British average diet, a percentage higher than any other European country.

The study states that anyone who feeds in this way is 14% more likely to suffer serious consequences within eight years.
